Greve Municipality offers a multitude of experiences just waiting for you. The magnificent shopping center, Waves, is one of them. The center offers 110 stores ranging from fashion and toy shops to cozy restaurants and cafes. Waves also has a cinema that showcases a wide selection of premiere films for both children and adults.

A stone's throw away from the popular shopping center is Portalen Greve Theater and Music House. 

You also have ample opportunity to engage in an active lifestyle at the Greve Sports and Leisure Center, Greve Tennis Club, or Greve Gymnastics and Trampoline. 

In the area, you will find a number of schools and institutions that contribute to providing a safe and good upbringing for your children.

Magnificent natural areas

In and around Greve, there are numerous exceptional natural areas just waiting for you. You will find the most beautiful sandy beach, stretching from Hundige Harbor, past the idyllic fishing harbor of Mosede Harbor, to the area around Mosede Fort and Karlslunde Strand.

The water at the beach is shallow, with limited currents, so you can confidently let your children play in the waves.

Along the entire beach road, you'll find various specialty shops and a range of good eateries to satisfy your hunger.

The modern marina, Greve Marina, is also worth a visit. Here, you can experience and enjoy the authentic marina atmosphere and a handful of cozy cafes and restaurants.

You and your family can also visit Karlstrup Limestone Quarry, which offers the clearest azure-blue water, or take a trip to Hedeland Nature Park, where you can explore the magnificent nature and let the children play in the park's playgrounds.

Balder støtter lokalmiljøet i Greve Nord

I Balder har vi sat os for at støtte op om lokalmiljøet i Greve Nord, da vi med vores ejendomme Strandby Høje og Strandby Huse føler os forpligtede til at tage aktiv del i området. 

Derfor gik vi for år tilbage i dialog med Greve Kommune om, hvordan vi støtter lokalområdet bedst muligt, så det bliver et endnu mere attraktivt og inddragende område med et til stadighed velfungerende, frivilligt foreningsliv.

Fra vores side er der ud af dette bl.a. opstået et stærkt, lokalt partnerskab med Hundige Boldklub. Her sponsorerer vi et månedligt beløb, hvilket har resulteret i, at boldklubben i slutningen af 2023 kunne ansætte to nye medarbejdere med en løn betalt af Balder.

De to nye medarbejdere varetager henholdsvis klubbens fonds- og sponsorsøgning, hjemmeside, samt café og indkøb. Begge er de nu med til at kunne holde hjulene kørende til glæde for de mange borgere, der benytter boldklubbens tilbud.

”Vi har i dag omkring 7-800 medlemmer, og er en af de største foreninger i bydelen og et samlingspunkt uden lige. Den spiller en stor rolle i at give byens unge et sted at være. De bruger vores café og opholdsrum til at samles og hænge ud – også selvom de hverken skal træne eller nødvendigvis er medlemmer. På den måde bliver faciliteterne et fristed, og også af den grund er det vigtigt, at foreningen findes. Den både samler lokalbefolkningen, giver mulighed for et aktivt fodboldliv og skaber et tiltrængt værested”, lyder det fra formand Jan Holst Andersen.
