Balder acquires residential building plot near Helsingør Hospital

Balder Danmark has acquired an attractive residential building plot in the old Hospital area in Helsingør, which will be transformed into a lively new district during the next couple of years. On the building plot, Balder will construct "Ofeliahaven", which comprises around 110 rental apartments. The project is expected to be finished in 2022.

The old hospital area has been deserted for a long time, but recently the municipality of Helsingør and Freja Ejendomme published a local development plan for the area and Balder’s residential building plot of approx. 9000 m2 is a substantial part of this project.

A housing project in scenic surroundings

Ofeliahaven will comprise a total of approx. 110 apartments. The apartments vary in size ranging from 2-4 rooms and 50-105 m2, and the property can, therefore, accommodate students, couples, singles, families with children and the elderly. Every apartment will feature either a private balcony or a terrace. Residents in the property will also have access to the property’s green gardens with beautiful flowers and relaxing zones as well as areas that invite to play and games.
