Balder's first property in Høje Taastrup is completed
Agerhusene on Skjeberg Allé is now completed and was quickly fully let. This is a milestone for Balder Denmark's involvement in Høje-Taastrup Commune, where the company will build 5 residential properties in the coming years.
In the new residential area by Skjeberg Allé, new buildings and recreational green areas are sprouting up. Now Balder Denmark's first property in the commune is completed, Agerhusene.
“We are very satisfied with Agerhusene, which has become property of high quality, with apartments for all ages. There has been an overwhelming interest for the apartments in Agerhusene, and everything was fully let long before the property was completed. This tell us that we have created an attractive property in a commune where the need of apartments is high,” says Balder Denmark's CEO Flemming Joseph Jensen.
In continuation of this, he emphasizes that Agerhusene is the first of many milestones in Høje-Taastrup Commune. In Nærheden, located in Hedehusene, the real estate company also builds Lerholmen and Lynghaven, and in Høje Taastrup C they build Fyrkanten and Rubinhaven. When the 5 properties, which contain a total of 777 rental homes, are completed, Balder will be one of the largest private landlords in the commune.
Wants to contribute to the development of Høje Taastrup
The area by Skjeberg Allé has been developed by MT Højgaard, and Erik Nielsen, project development director at MT Højgaard, expresses enthusiasm for Balder's contribution to the area.
“We are pleased that Balder chose to invest in Skjeberg Allé, as the area thereby gets a variation in housing sizes and forms of ownership. The desire to develop a mixed and vibrant area with homes for everyone seems to become a reality. The collaboration with Balder and Danielsen Architecture on the project has been very good,” he says.
Besides Skjeberg Allé the development of Nærheden and Høje Taastrup C is moving forward. All of this is part of the commune's development strategy, which is based on creating a sustainable commune, which will continue to be an attractive place for current and future citizens. It is a development that Balder wants to contribute to.
“There is room for all ages in our properties, and here you get the best conditions for living an easy everyday life with lots of happiness and community. This is, among other things, shown in modern apartments, good outdoor areas and communal facilities. With our 5 properties, we want to attract citizens of all ages to the commune and thereby contribute to the development,” says Flemming Joseph Jensen.
The investments in Høje Taastrup are paying off well
There are many good reasons why Balder choose to invest in Høje-Taastrup Commune.
“Høje-Taastrup Commune is a progressive commune with many options that match the search criteria we have when we are looking for areas to build in. Here you have many job opportunities, a vibrant city life, good shopping opportunities, green areas, good infrastructure, and then you live close to Copenhagen. The development of the new areas also contributes to making the commune even more attractive to live in,” he says.
As previously mentioned, Agerhusene is fully let, and this also applies to Lerholmen in Nærheden, which will be completed in a few weeks. "Our investments in the commune seem pretty good right now, and we look forward to create more projects in the commune, which has so much to offer," concludes Flemming Joseph Jensen.
