The official grand opening party for tenants at Carlsbakken

Balder recently held a successful celebration at Carlsbakken to welcome new tenants to their respective homes. The grand opening took place on a newly constructed rooftop. Both tenants, Balders employees and local shopowners where invited. 

The rooftop at Carlsbakken in Hillerød was filled with cheerful smiles, children running around and a DJ spreading tunes through the summer air. The tenants made an impressive encounter and showed enthusiasm for the grand opening where they could meet their upcoming neighbors. The kids were entertained with balloon animals, face paint and an ice cream, so they could get cooled down from the heat.

According to Lasse Aagaard-Møller, chief project manager at Balder, the event lived up to his expectations.
“We wanted to give our tenants a good start in Carlsbakken, and a grand opening on the roof terrace was a good way to do that. The tenants met and spoke with one another and the children played together. It was exciting to feel the good vibes that already seem to exist between the tenants, and I met most of them as well,” he tells.

Grand opening brought joy to residents

Several tenants showed excited towards the event, among others Maja and Tobias whom recently moved in at Carlsbakken. “It’s a nice initiative to arrange something like this, and we are positively surprised of how much they do, so that we get to meet our neighbors,” Tobias expressed. In continuation of this, Maja told that she already experiences a community here. “It’s super nice to live here. When we first moved in, the other tenants were nice to borrow us stuff, among this a measuring tape” she laughed.
