In Balder Denmark’s newest property Lynghaven aesthetics and sustainability go hand in hand. The first apartments were gone by a flash, and now the rental of stage 2 begins.

Høje Taastrup’s new green suburb Nærheden is taking shape and the first residents have already moved into the area. You will find Balder Denmark’s newest building Lynghaven close to magnificent nature areas, a newly built school and only 18 minutes from Copenhagen Central Station.

The apartments of stage 1 were gone in a flash, which has aroused a big interest among people who seeks for an apartment. Now Balder is ready with stage 2, which offers 44 apartments with 2-4 rooms, spread over 64-100 sqm.

Lynghaven will be created in a collaboration between Balder Danmark, Sjælsø Management and the award-winning architectural firm Dissing+Weitling. The property appears with an elegant and stylish exterior, with apartments created with a focus on sustainability, quality, and the easy everyday life, according to the architect of the project, Daniel Hayden.

“The bright kitchen-dining area is one of the great assets of the apartments, which is ideal for pleasant moments with friends and family. We also have decorated the apartments with stylish kitchens, spacious bathrooms, and good and functional rooms. All the apartments also have their own balcony or terrace – some even have their own roof terrace,” he says.

The focus on sustainability in Nærheden is also reflected in the new residential property.

“High sustainability requirements are built around ‘Lynghaven’. In fact, we hope that the property will get a gold certificate in the internationally recognized sustainability scheme DGNB”, says Lasse Aargaard-Møller.

Courtyard with room for play and relaxation

The heart of Lynghaven is a green courtyard environment inspired by the surrounding wild nature. It’s one of the property’s greatest qualities, according to the project manager.

“Wild plants, heather, pine trees and up to 8.5 meters high willow trees, is parts of the nature which we invited inside the courtyard. Facilities for all generations will also be established in the courtyard. Here, a pavilion, grill, high beets, and greenhouses will be built, as well as play areas with multi-course, willow huts and play equipment in beautiful nature materials” says Lasse Aagaard Møller.

Popular apartments in Nærheden

A school, a day care center, a supermarket, common facilities, green areas, new apartments, and a lot of new residents, begins to appear in the new and sustainable district – Nærheden. 1.000 people have in a few years chosen to settle in Nærheden, and when the area is fully developed, 8.000 residents will have the opportunity to live in the district.

“The apartments in Nærheden are quickly rented or sold. In general, we experience a great interest for this area,” says Ole Møller, Director of the urban development company NærHeden P/S.

The vision of creating a district where people can live an easy everyday life with a strong community is becoming real.

“The communal facilities, such as the City Garden with an outdoor kitchen, the large new playground in the park and the district’s many areas of nature, is extensively used by the residents. It brings a lot of life into the area. We are looking forward to welcoming Lynghavens new residents to their new home in Nærheden”, says Ole Møller.
